The New Facebook

The social media site, which has more than 1 billion users, on Thursday announced a newly redesigned news feed that blows up photos and visual content, and adds categories that focus on specific types of content. The Web version of the social network now looks much more like the mobile apps, which are also getting a revamping.
Zuckerberg said. "I think that there's this important and social place in this world for this customized newspaper".
Mark Zuckerberg is changing Facebook because Facebook has kind of fallen from the popular crowd. These days it's Instagram,twitter,Path. The people that the new Facebook is trying to Appel to is teenagers. The new Facebook is focusing more on the photos and visual side of Facebook. To me I would rather have Facebook focus on photos and visual stuff because some of the status that people put are just completely stupid and aggravate me.
The Facebook board says that "Photos will show every single image your friends post as well as the photos posted by the pages you follow, including anything shared to Facebook from Instagram." Since Facebook is trying to revamp their social site, their connecting it with Instagram to make people come back to Facebook. Teenagers, these days just get annoyed with status that people put up and would rather look at photos that people post. Another thing that show that we would rather look at photos is SnapChat, SnapChat is a app that lets you send pictures with captions in them to your friends.
